Robbie Williams Engagement to Actress Girlfriend Is no Joke this Time
Finally, an end to the ‘are they or aren’t they’ saga of Robbie Williams and girlfriend Ayda Field. After a false start when Robbie proposed live on Australian radio then claimed he was joking, it seems the sparkler is well and truly on the finger.
The ring was spotted by eagled eyed paps in California as Robbie played in an annual England versus Scotland football match in Los Angeles while Ayda cheered him on.
And they’re already planning a football team of mini-Robbie Williams. ‘That’s definitely on the agenda,’ Robbie Williams told Closer magazine. ‘Little monkeys running around! It’s about time - I’ve had a good innings.’
The couple have not yet set a date, but friends have said Williams is keen to get married as quickly as possible so the pair can start a family.
Although they have not finalised their plans, Robbie Williams and Field have already received an offer of help organising their big day from an unusual source - Jay-Z.
The rapper is keen to get involved with the preparations for the wedding, adding his wife Beyonce Knowles could arrange the reception as she loves party planning.
“I would be happy to help Robbie organise his wedding. I am sure he will make it an extravagant party,” he is quoted by Britain’s The Sun newspaper as saying.
“I had my 40th last month in the Dominican Republic. That would be a great place for Robbie’s wedding. The entertainment at my party was all hot and if Robbie wants my help he should come over for dinner and Bey and I can help him out. She is great at organising parties, she loves it.
